15 DAYS to go.... Q&A time

Hi girls! It's ALMOST time to sail!

Can you believe it?

It's time for Questions and Answers --
What are your pressing cruising questions? If I don't have the answer, we'll find the answer.

I was shocked to learn we are not allowed irons on board -- yikes! But you can bring your flat iron -- and that's good.

So let's get those questions rolling. And remember, we've all been a first time cruiser -- don't worry, just ask away.

Are we going to be doing special activities like the door decorating, crazy hats, etc that we may want to bring specific items for? We are leaving to drive down on Saturday the 9th and I want to make sure I have what I need! :) Thanks!!

Is the PJ party going to be outside by the pool or inside in the theater? My understanding is we are going to do PJ party and watch Karen's new movie. I guess inside would be logical choice. Was hoping to have a PJ party by the pool.

It is my understanding on 4 day cruises there is only one formal night. Is this the case on this one? I had read on a review for Grandeur of the Seas about 2 formal nights but they did not state length of cruise. And can you find out which night formal night will be? Probably Saturday after we spend all day in Cozumel. :-(

Mine is just being curious, but does the Girls Get Away have the entire cruise ship or is there other stuff going on besides what you have planned? I have gone on cruises before just not on specific ones like this. thanks!

Are we doing the door decoration contest as well as the hat contest? PJ party sounds fun. Seeing Karen's movie would be awesome as our demand it group in Canada hasn't really got off the ground yet.
I know we sold out, but are there other groups or passengers on board besides us?

eek! I didn't know we couldn't bring an iron - glad I read the blog today! So....do we all just walk around in wrinkly clothes the whole time? That's sure to be (not) fun on formal night! What else are we not allowed to bring?

Are we able to walk around/explore Key West and Cozumel on our own, or do we have to book an excursion? Will the ship dock in places easily accessible to beaches, or will we need to depend on the purchased excursions to get us to a shore or shopping area? Thanks!
